To the John Dennis for Congress Team:
I apologize for only being able to contribute $2.00, but I wanted to make a statement. I wanted to double the amount Nancy Pelosi arrogantly offered to give to secure the borders, which I wonder if she even gave that. It is a statement on her part that blatantly shows her disinterest in protecting California, which she supposedly represents. I am sad that I cannot offer more considering her value of $80+ millions versus my annual income (which is now consisting of retirement assets and social security.) I am also presently taking care of a mother in memory care, which I have to supplement her rent by over $1000 a month, which I know would not come close to taking care of one homeless person off the streets of San Fransisco for a month.
I am saddened by the current state of affairs in our country. I don’t even know how to make resolutions for this year, except I will do everything I can voluntarily to defeat the arrogant tyrants who claim democracy, but hypocritically appear to destroy our great country. I am also pledging support to your candidacy because the current representative of my own district voted for impeachment due to her ties with your opponent. I resent that a representative would vote against the majority of her constituency. It proves to me that there is a blatant undermining of respect for representing the people of this country, which is what we vote them to do.
I will be in California in June to celebrate my son-in-law graduating from a University in your area. I would be glad to volunteer some time to help your campaign.
My prayer is that my donation will be matched by 1 million people who share my concern for Nancy Pelosi’s contempt of the Republican Party. I hope you had a blessed Christmas. Thank you for the Christmas Card email. I will keep you and your family in my prayers during this time.
