About John

John Dennis is a businessman who has lived in San Francisco for over 17 years. He has made a career of start-ups and early adopter ideas and technologies.

As co-founder of Humanscale Corporation, John helped develop the nascent ergonomics business. His thirteen years at Humanscale took him from sales representative to Managing Director. During his time at Humanscale John lived in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Amsterdam, Marseilles and Dublin, Ireland. Today the still privately held Humanscale employs over 600 people and its products are sold everywhere in the world.

John spent five years in start-ups in positions ranging from Director of Business Development to VP of Sales, always focusing on paradigm shifting technologies. In 2001 John started Foundation Real Estate which owns property in California, Colorado, Washington State, South Carolina, Sweden and Montenegro.

John is a graduate of St. Peters Prep in Jersey City, N.J. and of Fordham University in New York.
